My name is Jeffrey Lawson. I have been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember. I studied finance, corporate strategy and technological change, driven by the same curiosity: understanding how ideas turn into real things.

Since then, I have worked where things are not yet tidy: an idea to turn into a product, a team to help move forward, a system to simplify. That is where I feel most useful.

Above all, I am someone who likes to make things. Understand a problem, get my hands into it, test, build, start again. With particular attention to the way things take shape: how simple they are, how they are used, and how they look.

I am drawn to ideas that take shape: a technology that makes a gesture simpler, an object whose design makes you want to use it, a product that solves a real problem.

I write in the same spirit: to put my thinking in order, test it against reality, share it more clearly, and keep track of what I learn while building.
